Things to do in Corona

Corona is a city in Riverside County, California, located southeast of Los Angeles. The city was once the “Lemon Capital of the World” due to ideal growing conditions for citrus fruits. Corona is home to almost 400 acres of parks, hotels, recreational facilities, restaurants, sports fields and other interesting places to visit.

A fun place to visit is Tom’s Farm: Tom became a farmer from the day he was born and when he turned five he started to work at a produce stand. Since the early 70’s, people have come from miles away to visit & buy fresh products at Tom’s Farms. Tom‘s Farms is an energetic place with live music, a little zoo, shops, restaurants, horse rides and a craft fair. Family fun doesn’t stop there. Skull Canyon Zipline is a family-friendly experience for kids of all ages, with a zipline course 80 feet above the ground, 2,800 feet of cable and six ziplines.

If you enjoy museums, visit the Corona Heritage Park and Museum. You will walk through a park with vintage buildings, city heritage displays, gardens, an arts colony & event space. For many years, the annual Corona Antiques & Collectibles Faire has grown to become this park’s most successful event. It has sold out over dealer spaces and packed in people to capacity.

Santiago Peak is the southern mountain of Orange County’s Saddleback formation. It is the highest peak of both the Santa Ana Mountains and Orange County, and also marks a border point with Riverside County. The top of Santiago Peak is covered with many microwave and telecommunication antennas. It is named for Santiago Creek, which begins on its southwestern flank. During winter, snow does fall on the peak.
